What this site is, what it is not, and whose names appear on it.

PT Acala Genesa Sumberdaya (ACALA) publishes acala.co.id to explain what we do and to make it easy to reach us. This page sets out the limits of that material: our relationship with Dassault Systèmes, whose trademarks appear here, why an article is not a substitute for an engagement, and who owns the resource and reserve estimates we help produce. Last updated 8 September 2026.

Our relationship with Dassault Systèmes

ACALA is an authorised reseller of GEOVIA software in Indonesia and a training provider whose instructors are certified by Dassault Systèmes. We are an independent company. We are not Dassault Systèmes, not a subsidiary of it, and not its agent for any purpose beyond the reseller and training arrangements in force between us.

Nothing on this site is a statement by Dassault Systèmes. Product roadmaps, release dates, feature sets, licensing models and prices are set by Dassault Systèmes and can change without notice to us. Where a commitment matters to your decision, ask us for it in writing and we will confirm what we can commit to and what only the vendor can.

Trademarks

GEOVIA, Surpac, Whittle, MineSched, Minex and 3DEXPERIENCE are trademarks or registered trademarks of Dassault Systèmes or its subsidiaries. SNI is administered by Badan Standardisasi Nasional. KCMI is administered by the Indonesian professional bodies that maintain it, and JORC, SAMREC and NI 43-101 by their respective custodians. All other product names, logos and brands on this site belong to their respective owners.

We use these names to identify the software we resell, the standards we report under and the tools we teach. Use of a name does not imply endorsement of ACALA by its owner, or endorsement of that owner by ACALA.

Product information

Descriptions of GEOVIA products on this site are written to help you judge whether a tool fits your problem. They are summaries, not specifications. The authoritative description of any product is the vendor’s own documentation and the licence terms issued with the product.

Screenshots may come from a version other than the one currently shipping, and a workflow shown here may require modules that are licensed separately. Before you buy on the strength of something you read here, ask us to confirm it against the current release and your intended configuration.

Articles are not professional advice

The technical articles on this site describe methods, standards and software behaviour in general terms. They are written by our geologists and engineers from project experience, and they are meant to be useful. They are not advice on your deposit, your data or your decision.

A resource estimate, a mine plan, a valuation or a Competent Person report depends on the geology in front of you, the quality and density of your data, the modifying factors that apply to your operation and the standard you are reporting under. None of that can be settled by reading a web page. If a decision turns on it, engage us or another qualified practitioner so that a named person with the right competence signs for the work.

Worked examples, sample figures and illustrative numbers in articles exist to show a method. They are not benchmarks, not guidance on what your numbers should look like, and not a basis for public reporting.

Estimates and reports remain yours

Where we produce a resource estimate, reserve statement, mine plan, valuation or technical report for you, the responsibility for public disclosure of that work stays with you as the reporting entity. We sign as Competent Person or Specialist where we are qualified and where we have agreed to do so in writing, and that signature covers what the engagement letter says it covers.

We do not authorise the use of our name, our staff’s names or their professional memberships in a public report, prospectus, listing document or investor material unless we have reviewed the specific text and consented to it in writing, in the form and context in which it appears.

Screenshots, imagery and quotations

Software screenshots on this site were produced by ACALA staff during training, project work or internal testing, or supplied by the vendor for marketing use. Project data shown in a screenshot is either synthetic, published, or used with the client’s permission and anonymised where the client asked for that.

Photographs of training sessions and events are published with the permission of the organisations involved. If you appear in a photograph on this site and want it removed, write to office@acala.co.id and we will remove it without asking you to explain why.

Quotations from clients are published with their consent and are reproduced as given. Where a quotation is attributed to a role rather than a name, that is at the client’s request.

This site links to vendor pages, standards bodies, professional associations and published research. We link to them because they are useful, not because we control them. We are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it.

Statements about the future

Where this site describes what a technology, a standard or a market is likely to do, that is opinion formed at the time of writing. Regulations change, standards are revised, software is discontinued and commodity prices move. We do not undertake to update an article every time one of those things happens, although we do correct errors when we find them or when a reader points them out.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Indonesian law, ACALA is not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on material published on this site, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law, and it does not limit anything we have agreed in a signed engagement contract, quotation or licence. Those documents govern the work we do for you; this page governs the website.

Governing language

This site is published in English. Where an Indonesian translation of any legal page is provided and the two differ, the Indonesian version prevails for the purposes of Indonesian law, in line with Law No. 24 of 2009. Ask us if you need a document in Bahasa Indonesia.
