GEOVIA by Dassault Systèmes · Official reseller for Indonesia: ACALA

Geology modelling and mine planning software, from the first drill hole to the daily schedule.

Powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, GEOVIA gives geoscientists, earth engineers and urban planners the tools to design, analyse and simulate the earth’s resources and to automate processes, improving operational efficiency and optimising resource use. Four products, one workflow: Surpac for geology and design, Whittle for strategy, MineSched for schedules, Minex for coal and stratified deposits. ACALA licenses, supports and trains on all of them.

Geology-driven mining

From subsurface insight to strategic resource planning.

The products connect in one workflow. The block model built in Surpac feeds the pit shells in Whittle, whose pushbacks become the periods in MineSched. Minex carries the same chain for coal.

1Model

Quantify the orebody

Accurate, reliable geology models for mining and civil projects.

Surpac

  • Drillhole databases, sections, solids and implicit geological modelling.
  • Block models, variography, kriging and resource classification.

Minex

  • Seam modelling and quality models for coal and stratified deposits.
  • Reserve estimation by seam, ply and quality.
2Evaluate

Discover the profitability of mine optimisation

Whittle gives strategic insight into pit design and scheduling for long-term planning.

Whittle

  • Nested pit shells, pushbacks, cut-off and stockpile strategy.
  • Life-of-mine schedules and NPV across scenarios.

Surpac

  • Pit, dump, ramp and road design; underground development and stopes.
  • Reserve reporting against the design.
3Schedule

Unlock the power of your mine schedules

A tactical plan turns the strategic decisions into a schedule that guides day-to-day operations.

MineSched

  • Target-based scheduling for open pit benches and underground development and stopes.
  • Stockpiles, haulage, Activities Canvas and scenario comparison.

Minex

  • Integrated coal pit and dump scheduling.
  • Haulage, blending and waste management.
4Collaborate

Experience the power of GEOVIA on the platform

A real-time view of work activity and ecosystem for companies, engineers, geoscientists and urban planners.

3DEXPERIENCE

  • Assess a project’s value before breaking ground; design and optimise well before construction.
  • Centralise and manage all data; work with colleagues from anywhere.

Sustainability

  • Analyse and embed the sustainability of the operation.
  • Model the sustainable planet: improve planning and productivity responsibly.

GEOVIA roles on the platform

Roles are apps grouped by what a person does. Open a role for what it enables.

Geoscience

Geology Modeler
Geology Modeler on 3DEXPERIENCE

Accelerate the creation of 3D geological models of the subsurface, rapidly test multiple hypotheses, and make repeatable, rapid updates when new geoscience data is available. Rapid and accurate modelling of geoscience data for faster decisions.

Geoscience Referential Manager

Define and manage the geoscience data referential from geoscientists, consultants and contractors, so all stakeholders of near-surface and sub-surface projects can ingest and manage geoscience data.

Earth Engineering Coordinator
Earth Engineering Coordinator

Consolidate and federate geoscience and engineering information for downstream use. Keeps geoscience and engineering professionals in sync on multi-discipline, multi-stakeholder data and interpretation, on a single source of truth of the natural and built environment.

Mine planning

Pit Optimizer
Pit Optimizer

Enhance value and efficiency with planning strategies from optimisation to scheduling. A platform-based strategic mine planning offering used by mining engineers to generate pit and pushback optimisations and schedules for surface mines.

Strategic Mine Planner
Strategic Mine Planner

Comprehensively evaluate strategic mining plans from development to closure, prioritising economic value and ecological responsibility. An advanced scheduling engine formulates plans that consider a myriad of economic and technical factors.

Surface Mine Designer
Surface Mine Designer

Generate and evaluate multiple pit, ramp and waste storage facility designs through an automated parametric process: quickly process, edit and evaluate surface mining designs on the platform.

Underground Mine Designer
Underground Mine Designer

Generate and evaluate multiple development designs through an automated parametric process: quickly process, edit and evaluate underground mining designs on the platform.

Cities and territories

Questions we get

GEOVIA FAQ

Which GEOVIA product do we need?
Surpac for geology, resource estimation and design; Whittle for strategic planning and pit optimisation; MineSched for tactical schedules; Minex for coal and stratified deposits. Most operations start with Surpac and add the others as planning matures. Use the product finder above or ask ACALA.
Who sells and supports GEOVIA in Indonesia?
ACALA is the official GEOVIA reseller for Indonesia: licence quotes and renewals, installation, technical support in Indonesian, and training certified by Dassault Systèmes.
Do the products work together?
Yes. The Surpac block model feeds Whittle, Whittle’s pushbacks feed MineSched, and results return to Surpac for design. On the 3DEXPERIENCE platform the data is shared as one model.
What is a 3DEXPERIENCE role?
A set of apps grouped by what a person does, such as Geology Modeler, Pit Optimizer or Surface Mine Designer, delivered on the platform with data management and collaboration built in.
Is there an option for universities?
Yes. The GEOVIA Academic License Program provides reduced-cost licences, lecturer training and support to educational institutions. ACALA runs it in Indonesia.
